With Qualcomm’s newest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, the new phone can charge at a blistering 120 watts. Although a limited-edition model featuring a racing team’s logo and colours is also the first in the Xiaomi and Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team alliance.

The right-hand side of the K40 Gaming has two physical gaming triggers, much like last year’s model. On top of all of that, Xiaomi has included the company’s CyberEngine haptics motor and JBL-tuned speakers. The back of the phone is constructed of glass, while the metal frame is visible.

For the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the rest of the components, Xiaomi created a whole new dual vapour chamber (VC) cooling mechanism. To begin with, a copper radiator is affixed directly to the chipset itself. Dual graphite sheets, stainless steel and mesh materials were also used by Xiaomi.
