WhatsApp will no longer work on this devices after Nov. 2021

WhatsApp stated coming this November, it will be rolling off it’s messenger support for older device Android and IOS such as devices running anything older than Android 4.1. Other supported OSes include iOS 10 or newer and KaiOS 2.5.1 or newer.
According to the company correspondent, it is ending support for some older OS devices.

Android
Google rolled out its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich nearly 10 years ago on October 18th, 2011, as such it’s very unlikely that some devices’ are still running anything less than Android 4.0.4, which was the final update for Ice Cream Sandwich.
WhatsApp stating out that for users on older device who still wish to continue using the messenger will have to update their devices to at least Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which was published in 2021.
iOS
Nevertheless too, iOS users runing older OS will also have to undergo update on OS. This goes for those using older iPhones before 2016 and later.
Apple rolled out iOS 10 when it launched the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, Apple supports its devices for a longer period than many of its rivals.
