WhatsApp Reflects New Brand Name “Meta” On WhatsApp

After the Social community platform giant took to Facebook announcing it’s transition plans into a metaverse company and the aim of this new venture, it’s also said the transitioning will take decade to completely materialize however, over the long run the social giant will gradually be Inculcating metaverse changes into its products and services.
Meanwhile soon after the company’s annual conference event streamed live on Facebook, the company’s page for business activities and aid was spotted to have the changes effected as the name was changed from “Facebook For Business” to “Meta for Business”.
The aim of Metaverse is to connect and band together the parents company Facebook and all of it’s subsidaries such as Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, Oculus and more under the brand name Meta.
Recently the company has also been spotted to have also effected the change on its WhatsApp Beta version 2.21.220.14. When it was seen at the footer section of the app to reflect that.
Acording WABetaInfo, with version 2.21.220.14 of WhatsApp beta, when you open the app, it nolonger shows the “WhatsApp from Facebook” anymore but instead shows “WhatsApp from Meta.”
The update notice also indicates WhatsApp also removed the “WhatsApp from Facebook” sign in footer of the settings area as well.
When the chief executive officer of the parent company now Meta first announced this transitioning, he also laid out the company’s plan for a billion users in its metaverse over the coming decade when he said:
As part of this, it’s time for us to adopt a new company brand to encompass everything that we do. To reflect who we are and what we hope to build. I’m proud to announce our company is now Meta.

Other New Updates
According to WABetaInfo, “WhatsApp has also Inculcated a feature to help businesses improve their messages to customers. This feature allows WhatsApp business accounts to see general feedback about rated messages, though they won’t be able to see which of their customer or contact initiated the rating for their account.
WhatsApp will also not be able to peak at the content of the rating message. The aim is to preserve users privacy, hence the end-to-end encryption.”
