A new version for iPhone and iPad has been launched by Telegram Messenger that allows users to create a custom notification tone and a number of other new features.
Tones may now be made in the app using short audio files and spoken messages that are less than five seconds long and no larger than 300 KB in size, according to the new version.
To get started, Telegram has put up a Notification Sounds channel with a few examples to help users get started creating their own personalised alerts.
With this version, you may now choose a custom mute duration if you don’t want alerts all the time. In the past, Telegram users could silence their conversations for a certain amount of time. Now, they can also temporarily stop getting notifications.
A single menu now allows users to turn off or silence messages for each conversation. This makes it easier for them to tailor their alerts to fit their needs.
Improved in-app message translation in iOS, a new phone number changing interface, and “Food that Moves” animated emoji are just some of the other features included in this version.
The Telegram developers’ blog has additional information about the Telegram interface’s other modifications and upgrades. Telegram version 8.7 is now available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, as well as the Google Playstore for Android.
