Parent Company Facebook Aspire To Rebrand Name focuses on “Metaverse”

Worlds No.1 social community platform Facebook is reportedly aspiring for a rebrand to its name in order to mirror its latest ventures. The company’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg will be poised to discuss the name transition from Facebook to “Metaverse on its upcoming annual Connect conference on October 28th.
However, recent repots speculate that the parents company rebrand will be announced much sooner than the expected. Facebook who is already the social giants to community communications holding three sub-parent company’s namely Instagram, WhatsApp and Oculus is self assured to be regarded for more than social media but as well other aspects in development.
Facebook in a public blog post stated it’s implementation for this further announcing that the company intends to create 10,000 new high-skilled jobs within the European Union (EU) over the next five years. in addition, Facebook already possesses more than the stipulated 10,000 employees thus building a consumer hardware like AR glasses.
Meanwhile, back In August this year, the social giants unveiled a test of a new virtual-reality remote work app which gives users of the company’s Oculus Quest 2 headsets access to hold meetings as avatar versions of themselves. The term ‘metaverse’ refers to a digital worlds in which multiple people can interact within a 3D environment often using VR headsets. In practical terms, it means augmented and virtual reality products and services. One such world is the gaming world where players can interact with other players using avatars.
Most top big technology companies like Microsoft, Roblox and Epic are already investing in the metaverse as it is believed it’s will help unlock access to new creative, social and economic opportunities.
