According to a fresh leak, OPPO’s next-generation Reno smartphones are already in the works. At least one model of this rumoured 8 series is expected to use a design that, while unique to the brand, has already been seen in the China-only K9 Pro. New renderings show the rumoured tablet, which also seems to have three back cameras.
It appears like we are returning to a time when cameras didn’t extend far beyond the back of a smartphone. This is claimed to be left behind by devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and the future iPhone 14 series. While the cameras will still protrude somewhat, they will not be separated from the rest of the rear by the customary large island. Oppo appears to be happy with this design language and is pushing it further with the Oppo Reno8 series.
Oppo Reno Series
The Oppo Reno series is the company’s primary offering in the intermediate and premium-midrange smartphone segments. These gadgets have always had a luxury look, but we must admit that it has been a long time since we witnessed a substantial design shift in these devices. There are just minor variations between the Reno4, Reno5, Reno6, and Reno7 series of cellphones. All of these gadgets share a basic design with a large rectangular camera island at the back. However, with the debut of the Oppo Reno8 series, this appears to be changing.
Details About The Oppo Reno 8 Leaked
The camera part is huge, yet the three sensors are located in the top-left corner. The module also has an LED that flashes. A somewhat curved display may be seen in the front. The selfie camera has a top-left aligned punch-hole, and there is a small earpiece speaker at the top of the bezel. Unfortunately, the display size cannot be determined, although the Oppo Reno series has usually delivered screens ranging from 6.43 to 6.55 inches. The panel is unmistakably AMOLED, with a refresh rate of 90 or 120 Hz.
The power button is on the right, while the volume rocker is on the left. The power button is modest and straightforward, and the fingerprint scanner is absent. As a result, we infer that this smartphone includes a fingerprint scanner built into the touchscreen.
Oppo Reno 8 Release Date
There isn’t much information available regarding these devices right now. In reality, we anticipate that these gadgets will not be available for at least four to five months. The Oppo Reno7 series was launched in China last month but is yet to reach other markets. However, there is plenty of time until the Oppo Reno8 series is released.
