The Motorola Edge 30 smartphone has gone through the NBTC certification website before its much-awaited release on the market. The Motorola Edge 30 will be the second entry in the well-received Edge 30 series of smartphones. The range presently comprises the Edge 30 Pro, which was released in India last month. Furthermore, the phone went on sale in India on March 4 for INR 44,999 via Flipkart.
The vanilla Moto Edge 30 has been bagging several certifications and making appearances on many websites recently. The smartphone landed on the Geekbench testing website earlier this month. Aside from that, the next Motorola phone has already been identified by the EEC, Wi-Fi Alliance, and the TDRA database. The Motorola Edge 30 has now been added to the NBTC database. This further indicates that the phone’s introduction is on the way.
The Motorola gadget found on the NBTC’s certification page has model number XT2203-1. This validates the device’s name as the Motorola Edge 30. Furthermore, the database entry says that the United States will be producing the gadget. Aside from that, it says that it will come with compatibility for NR networks, WCDMA LTE, and GSM. Moreover, it means that the gadget supports a 5G network like its forerunner. Regrettably, the database does not provide additional insight into the impending handset’s specifications.
However, the phone’s Geekbench listing verifies the existence of a Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G processor under the hood. This octa-core chipset contains one prime core that clocks at 2.5GHz (Cortex-A78) (Cortex-A78). In addition to that, the CPU includes three gold Cortex-A78 cores clocking at 2.2GHz and four silver cores (Cortex-A55) that clock at 1.8GHz. The phone runs the Android 12 OS and will launch with 8GB of RAM.
Motorola Edge 30 CPU, Camera and other Display
The Edge 30 will follow last year’s Motorola Edge 20, which features a Snapdragon 778 CPU under the hood. The Edge 20 features 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and it supports 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Moreover, the phone has a 6.7-inch POLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. For optics, the smartphone has a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL GM2 primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide and macro lens, and an 8MP 3x telephoto lens. Upfront, it boasts a 32MP selfie camera.
Motorola Edge 30 Battery
The phone gets its juice from a powerful 4,000mAh battery pack that supports 30W rapid charging. The Motorola Edge 20 was sold for INR 29,999 shortly after its introduction. Now the smartphone is available for a discounted price of INR 25,999. Also, Motorola is ready to launch the Moto G52, Moto E32, and a bevvy of other smartphones in the coming days.
