Michael Mignano Spotify Anchor Co-Founder Is Leaving The Company
Spotify music is loosing one of it’s executive member

The co-founder of Anchor and Spotify’s podcasting technology chief, Michael Mignano, resigned last week, the business said Monday.
At the end of June, he’ll be on his way. This is the third high-profile departure from Spotify’s podcasting team in the last two months. It was recently revealed that Courtney Holt, the company’s head of studios and video, will be departing after securing lucrative deals with Joe Rogan and the Obamas.

Gimlet Media director Lydia Polgreen announced her departure for The New York Times in April. As co -founder of Anchor, Mignano launched the DIY podcast distribution service in 2015.
For more than $150 million, Spotify acquired the company in 2019 and hired the company’s top podcast tech czar, Marc Mignano, to lead its exploding podcast development and push into live audio.
For the most part, the most popular podcast hosting platform in the world is Anchor. An Anchor podcast episode is published every other week, Livewire Labs reports.
In order to increase the size of its podcast collection, Spotify has turned to the service. More than four million podcasts have been posted to Anchor since its launch in 2020, when the number stood at a mere 100,000. We were unable to reach Mignano for comment.
