1. How to Transfer Airtime on MTN Network.

There are two ways in which Airtime can be transfered or shared on MTN, this includes the use of SMS and USSD code.

In order to transfer Airtime from one MTN sim card to another, you have to register for MTN Share and shell service where you will have to create a transfer PIN of four digits which will be required at anytime you want to transfer Airtime from your existing MTN sim line to other.
Every MTN users has a default ShareNSell PIN which is 0000, it comes with your line at the point of purchase so to Start transfering airtime to others, you will have to change the default PIN to your own unique PIN.

How To Change Default ShareNSell PIN on MTN.

You can change your default PIN through SMS or with the use of USSD code.

NOTE: Your new PIN must contains four digits (4 digits) which can be any number.

How to change your default PIN through SMS:

• Go to your message and create a new message in the format below.
> 0000 New PIN New PIN and send it to 777.
E.g: if you want to use 2014 as your PIN, you will send 0000 2014 2014 after that, send the text to 777,
> The 0000 in the message is your default PIN, and thus 2014 is your new pin.

After which you have followed the instructions above strictly, you will receive a message that your PIN has been changed successfully.

How to change your default PIN through USSD code:
• Open your phone dial pad and dial *600*default PIN*New PIN*New PIN# and send.
E.g if you want to use 2014 as your PIN, then you will dial *600*0000*2014*2014#.
You will receive a message that your PIN has been changed successfully.

Note that the 2014 used is just an example, you may need to change it to your own preferred PIN during your registration process.

At this point now, you can proceed to tranfrer the airtime anytime without. Changing the pin again not unless you feel you might forget it at any given time.

How to Transfer Airtime on MTN through SMS:
To transfer Airtime on MTN using SMS,
> Go to your message and type the recipient phone number amount PIN and send it to 777

E.g if you want to transfer N100 Airtime to 09054299918 and your transfer PIN is 2014, thenon your message box, you are to to type Transfer(space) 09054299912(space)100(space) 2014 and send it to 777.

How To transfer Airtime through USSD,

>Open your phone dial pad and diai *600*recipient phone number*amount*PIN#.

E.g if you want to transfer N100 Airtime to 09054299912 and your transfer PIN is 2014, then you’re going to type *600*09054299918*100*2014#.

Note: Make sure that you have sufficient balance before attempting to transfer Airtime to others.

2. How to Transfer Airtime on Airtel Network.

The process involved in transfering Airtime on airtel line is almost the same thing with MTN except for the fact that the service provider is different.

Thus To transfer Airtime on airtel you will also have to change your default PIN to your desired PIN.

Airtel Airtime transfer service is known as Me2U
On airtel Me2U:

• Your default transfer PIN is 1234.

• The total amount of airtime that you can transfer using this service on a daily basis is limited to N5,000 and a service charge of N10 is applied on each transfer.

How To Change Your Default Me2U PIN On Airtel:

NOTE: Your new PIN must contains four digits (4 digits) as well.
Open your message app and create a new message using the format below.

> Type PIN default PIN New PIN and send it to 432.
E.g: if you want to use 2014 as your new PIN then you’re going to type PIN 1234 2014
> Then send it to 432.
You will receive a message that your PIN has been changed successfully.

Now that you have create your new PIN, you can now follow the steps below to transfer Airtime to others on airtel network.

How To Transfer Airtime On Airtel through Message:

• Go to your phone message and create a new message using the format below:

> Type 2U recipient phone number amount PIN and send it to 432.

E.g if you want to send N100 Airtime to 0905429912 and your PIN is 2014, then you’re going to type:
2U (space)09054299912(space) 100(space) 2014
> Then send it to 432.

> The Airtime will be sent to the recipient and a charge of N10 will be deducted.

How To Transfer Airtime On Airtel through USSD:

• Open your phone dial pad and dial *432#
> Enter 1 in the field provided and click on SEND,
> Next you are to enter the recipient phone number and click on SEND,
> Enter the amount you want to transfer and click on SEND,
> Finally, enter your PIN and click on SEND and you are done.
Or you could dail *432*09054299912*100# then send

3. How To Transfer Airtime On GLO Network.

The process involved in transferring Airtime on a GLO line is almost the same as it is with MTN and Airtel except that they are different service providers.

GLO Airtime transfer service is known as ME2U
On GLO ME2U:
• Your default transfer PIN is 00000.

NOTE: the glo network uses five digit pin instead of four hence, your PIN will be five digits here, instead of four digits used on MTN/Airtel.

How To Change Your Default GLO ME2U Transfer PIN.

• Open your phone dial pad and dial : *132*00000*New PIN*New PIN#
E.g: if you want to use 20144 as your new PIN then you’re going to dial *132*00000*4475*20144#

Now that you have created your new PIN, below are the steps involved in transfering Airtime on GLO Network.

• Open your phone dial pad and dial *131*reciepient phone number*amount*PIN#

E.g: if you want to transfer N100 to 0905429912 and your PIN is 20144, then, you’re going to dial
*132*08166667777*100*44775# and send
Once you hit the send button, you will receive a confirmation message asking you to confirm the transaction, then enter 1 to confirm the transfer.

4. How To Transfer Airtime On 9mobile

To transfer Airtime on 9mobile, you will also need to change your default PIN to a new PIN.
Aain, Your default PIN on 9mobile is 0000

NOTE: Your new PIN must contains four digits (4 digits)

To change your default PIN on 9mobile:
• Open your phone dial pad and dial
*247*default PIN*New PIN#

E.g: if you want to use 2014 as your new PIN, then you’re going to dial
*247*0000*2014#

At this point now, you can proceed to transfer Airtime on 9mobile network.

• Open your phone dial pad and dial
*223*PIN*amount*reciepient phone number#
E.g: if you want to transfer N100 Airtime to 0905429912 and your PIN is 2014 then you’re going to dial
*223*2014*100*09054299912#

After that, upon pressing send, you will receive a confirmation message asking you to confirm the transaction, then enter 1 to confirm the transfer.
