Spotify playlists allow you to curate your music based on your preferences. Whether it’s for a particular mood, genre, or season, you can make a playlist for it. However, mistakes do happen, and you may delete one of your playlists by accident. Don’t be alarmed if this occurs. You can reclaim your Spotify playlists that have been deleted.

How to Recover a Spotify Playlist That Has Been Deleted

Before we show you how to recover your Spotify playlists, you should be aware of two things. For starters, Spotify does not completely delete a playlist when you delete it. While it will not appear in Spotify’s Your Library feature, it will be saved for a while, allowing you to recover it if your preferences change.

Spotify usually keeps deleted playlists for 90 days. You don’t need to be concerned as long as you recover your deleted playlists within this time frame. It’s also worth noting that Spotify’s playlist recovery feature isn’t available on mobile or desktop apps. The web player must be used.

With that in mind, here’s how to get your Spotify playlist back on your phone or computer:

1 Go to the Spotify Account Overview page in your web browser. If you haven’t already, sign in to your account.

2 Then, from the left navigation menu, choose Recover Playlists. Tap Account Overview to open a drop-down menu, then select Recover Playlists if you’re using a mobile browser.

3 Spotify will display all playlists you’ve deleted in the previous 90 days. To recover a playlist, select Restore next to it. Your playlist will be successfully recovered, and the Restore button will change to Restored.

On Spotify’s Web player, your restored Spotify playlist will be at the bottom of the playlist collection. If that isn’t the case, you can find the restored playlist in Your Library by searching for it.

If you don’t see your restored playlist, close and reopen the Spotify app or Web player. Understanding how to restore a playlist is only the beginning. You can learn more Spotify playlist tips and tricks to take your listening experience to the next level.
