Restore a Deleted File From Your OneDrive Recycle Bin
If you deleted a file or folder from your OneDrive account, you have the option of restoring the files or folder back within the period of 30days upon deletion. After 30 days, the deleted file or folder is automatically and permanently deleted from the Recycle Bin. However this can be done using either your desktop or mobile device.
How To Restore a Deleted File or Folder Via Desktop
First, you need to log in to your Microsoft OneDrive account from your desktop and then click “Recycle Bin” in the left-hand pane. locate and Click on Recycle Bin.

Next in the Recycle Bin, right-click the file or folder you want to restore and then click “Restore” from the context menu. Locate and Right-click on the file you wish to restore back and then click Restore.

The selected file or folder will then be restored. If you want to restore all the files and folder in the Recycle Bin at once, click the “Restore All Items” option at the top of the screen.

Now click Restore All Items and you will be prompted with a confirmation window to authenticate the process, Click the blue “Restore” button to proceed.

Next click on Restore. All of the files and folders will be restored.
Restore a Deleted File or Folder Through Mobile Device
To restore a deleted OneDrive file or folder using your mobile device, all you need is to download the OneDrive app for iOS or Android -DOWNLOAD BELOW. Once installed, tap the app icon to launch it.
Immediately you launch the app, tap “Files” at the bottom of the screen.

Now tap on Files. Next tap “Recycle Bin,” found at the bottom of the list of folders. Then again tap on Recycle Bin here.
In the Recycle Bin, locate the file or folder you wish to restore, and tap the three doted icons at the right side of it then select “Restore” from the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen.

Now tap on restore.
If you wish to select multiple files and folders at once, tap and hold the first file, and then select the other files you wish to restore by tapping them. A blue checkmark will appear to the left of selected files.

After selecting the files in the OneDrive app, next tap the Restore icon located in the top-right corner of the screen. Your files and folders will be restored.
Restore a Deleted File From Your PC’s Recycle Bin
If you deleted a file or folder from OneDrive, and it has already been synced to your computer, then you can also restore that file or folder from the Recycle Bin (Windows) or Trash (Mac). However it is important to Note that this won’t work if you deleted an online-only file in OneDrive.
Meanwhile, to do this, simply open the Recycle Bin or Trash on your PC.
Now Navigate to the file or folder you intend to restore and and right-click on it. Or, if you want to restore all of the files and folders, press Ctrl+A on your keyboard (Windows) or Command+A for (Mac),
Now right-click any file or folder. Next, click “Restore” from the context menu that appears.

Click Restore. The selected file or folder will then be restored.
