- Ignore the first option telling you to “Continue browsing from airtime / 160MB Extra and select the second option which says “Stop my data”
- Now by selecting that, anytime your data bundle finish your airtime won’t be charged for browsing.
How To Stop PAYG service on your MTN line
To prevent mtn from utilizing your airtime when browsing or if you need to opt out of the PAYG service on your MTN line.
- Just dial *131*201# on your phone.
- Subsequent to dialing the code, you will receive a notification from MTN telling you about a successful deactivation of the PAYG service on your MTN line.
- Also, you can deactivate the PAYG service through SMS by Sending SUSPEND to 131.
How To Stop PAYG service on your 9Mobile line
The 9Mobile PAYG service permits users to browse at the rate of N15/5mins. Meaning you are charged 15 naira at regular intervals of surfing or browsing the internet with your airtime.
- To stop the Pay As You Go (PAYG) on your 9mobile, just dial *229*0# on your phone.
- After you’ve received a successful deactivation message, you will no longer be charged from your airtime when accessing the internet or when using your line to browse the internet.
How To Stop PAYG service on your GLO line
To stop the Glo PAYU administration, essentially send CANCEL to 127 through instant message. Henceforth, your broadcast appointment won’t contacted when peruse.
- To stop the Glo PAYG service on your Glo line, go to your phone message.
- Then simply send CANCEL to 127 via your text message.
- So now, your airtime won’t be touched anytime you are browsing the internet.
