Google’s New “Bussyness” Feature on Google Map Wans You About Crowded Places

Google has just announced the launch of “Bussyness” a new Map feature in it’s Google Map for iOS client with a bid to help holiday shoppers, identify Busy Areas and Directories.
Area Busyness combines the busyness trends of business establishments and locations that are closer to each other to notify you through its map app of the busiest neighborhood or a part of town around you. According to Google, the motive of this invention is to alert you, thereby identify busy areas for you to avoid, or thus highlight the hot spots for you when you’re new to a certain environment.

Along with the launch, Google is also adding Directories, a feature which makes it less stressful for individuals to navigate malls, airports, and transit stations. According to the Google, the new Directory tab will grant users the ability to see the type of stores available within a building and will go as far as helping users to find and locate lounges in an airport, parking lots, or any other place.
The feature will also be equipped with useful information such as whether condition, if a specific location is open or not, it’s rating, and the exact floor it’s on. The tech company added saying that the new feature will serve as a indoor mapping function which is already available in many shopping malls and airports and is currently integrated in Apple’s Maps app.

Google is also integrating a grocery store pickup feature, that will give users the ability to pickup orders from certain store which is to be added to Google Maps for tracking order status and further notifying the order stores of when you’ve arrived for the pickup.

While for restaurants users, an added price range feature supplied by other Google Maps users will be integrated to better educate users of the price and charges for Meals of a particular restaurant or FastFood establishment. in concluding, Google said that the roll out is currently available to users on the iOS platform and will gradually be rolling out widely within the coming holiday.
