Google Plans Launch of Pixel Watch To Compete With Apple Watch
Google plans To Launch a New Smartwatch for Pixel Devices to compete with Apple Watch

According to a recent report from Business Insider, Google plans to release its first wristwatch next year, marking the company’s foray into wearable hardware rather than simply software.
So far, Google has only created wearOS, an operating system that the corporation has collaborated with Samsung and others to incorporate into wristwatch products. Google, on the other hand, is planning its first watch, codenamed “Rohan,” for next year. The watch, according to the rumour, would have a circular form with no bezels.
Earlier this month, YouTube personality Jon Prosser shared renderings of the rumoured watch. Prosser stated that the watch might be available as early as October, but it has yet to be released.
A “Pixel Watch” design would fit with Google’s product portfolio, but it’s unknown what name Google would finally choose, according to the source. The “Pixel Watch,” like the Apple Watch, will assist users in tracking their health and fitness, although the extent to which this will be possible is uncertain.
Apple debuted the Apple Device in 2015, and the watch has received new features and capabilities in the years afterwards. Unlike the current Apple Watch, the “Pixel Watch” is unlikely to incorporate sophisticated sensors such as ECG or blood oxygen in its first incarnation.
According to internal papers obtained by Business Insider, Google intends to target the general public with its watch. According to a business document, “inadequate size precludes some users from wearing wristables completely,” and the firm hopes to build a watch that is “pleasant to wear for at least 90% of the population.”
According to Google workers who talked with Business Insider, Google is aiming for a Spring 2022 launch, although that timeframe is susceptible to change based on input from a restricted group of employees wearing the new watch.
