Google LLC is rolling out a respiratory and heart rate tracking feature on Pixel 6 in the Google Fit app. These heart thrilling features were made available on Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 for a short time but now the owners of Pixel 6 can now make use of them.
These feature just passed through the “early access” phase and some of the users of Pixel 6 said that Google removed the Magic Eraser tool during the last update of the Google Photo app. Meanwhile, the rolling out of the new update has stopped so only few users have the new version of the app which is said to be faulty.
It was earlier reported that the Google Pixel 6 units now have the heart rate and respiratory tracking features in the Google Fit app which uses the camera of the phone to calculate the respiratory problem and heart rate.
Meanwhile, Google warns app users that this new feature is not advisable to be used for medical use or treatment and may be removed soon.
The scan report found out that while testing the heart rate tracking feature, the results that were gotten were very accurate and is the same with that of a Fitbit tracker.
The only difference is that the app reading “was roughly off by 30 beats per minute in a dark room”.
The Magic Eraser tool feature that was removed earlier during the latest update of Google Photos allows app users to eliminate and remove unwanted objects on photos.
Google stated that the feature has been removed but those who haven’t updated the app yet can still use the feature.
Google lastly stated concern the issue that they have seen the issue and are working on a solution shortly.
