  • In Netflix’s Resident Evil, Jade Wesker (Ella Balinska), a survivor of an umbrella-caused viral catastrophe, strives to survive in a zombie-infested world.

The Umbrella Corporation in the Resident Evil series portrays itself to the public as a beneficent company dedicated to the development of drugs that will benefit humanity as a whole. The Final Chapter of Resident Evil: The first trailer for the upcoming Netflix live-action series is a stark reminder that the Umbrella Corporation is a very real threat.

According to Resident Evil creator Andrew Dabb, Netflix’s Resident Evil follows Jade Wesker (Ella Balinska) as she battles to survive in the zombie-infested world left in the wake of an umbrella-caused viral catastrophe. Jade’s father, Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick), is Jade’s father, and she has a personal link to the 2026 zombie outbreak because she is the daughter of Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick). Jade, on the other hand, is far more concerned with finding her long-lost sister, whom she believes is still alive someplace.
