As with the final episode of Game of Thrones, the season finale of House of the Dragon has supposedly been leaked online a few days before it was scheduled to air.
HBO released a statement to IGN and Variety that they are “aggressively monitoring and withdrawing these copies from the internet” and are “disappointed that this unauthorised conduct has disrupted the watching experience for committed fans of the show.”
This could suggest that spoilers for fans are being spread all over social media, though a coworker who watches the show assures me that this is nothing new, given how closely the show follows George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood. If you want to walk into the episode without knowing anything about the plot, it’s easier to avoid a Game of Thrones wiki than to find someone tweeting about something that happens in the show.
