If you’re a fan of remote desktop working on multiple device but always tossed around as to which option set of remote desktop working protocol to utilize, a far more interesting new update from Astropad is intended to solve most of your problems relating to remote desktop working.

Astropad has recently updated its Luna Display wireless modem device to feature support for Windows PCs, making it effectively useful with an an iPad Mac device to project an external monitor display.

The device was before now featured to work only for Apple devices, allowing Apple users to expand their viewing using iPads or Macs with no need for additional wires, however, this new update has now opened up to more acceptable users.

Astropads Luna Display 5.0 is now available with the company claiming that along with the Windows integrated support, the device new update also brings significant improvements on the Mac side, with users with M1 Macs set of device to experience a faster setup flow.

Requirement for Using Luna Display 5.0

The wireless dongle requires at least Windows 10 64-bit, Build 1809 or later release and on the Apple ipad side at least iPadOS 12.1, and a recommended WiFi or network of 802.11n or wired ethernet.

It’s available in both USB-C and HDMI varieties, though the previous one is was only one compatible with both Mac and PC. Current USB-C users can also upgrade to Luna Display 5.0 to use your unit on a PC or Mac.

Meanwhile the upgrade should open up a series of new use cases for Windows PC owners limited by their current active setup.

Astropad noteably explains that the upgrade means the Apple Pencil can now (alongside an iPad) work with your Windows device wbich is very useful while in fields such as graphic design, art and design and architecture.

The rollout emergered as many more employees within an organization make the most of hybrid working split between home and the office.
