DuckDuckGo Working on Enhanced Privacy-Focused Browser for Mac Client

The popular privacy-focused web browser DuckDuckGo is currently working on a standalone desktop browser for Mac, the browser owners stated today in a year-end wrap-up piece.
DuckDuckGo already has a browser option for mobile devices, and when it comes, the desktop browser will provide a similar experience.
The DuckDuckGo desktop browser will include “strong privacy protection” that operates by default, without forcing users to modify privacy settings or deal with multiple degrees of privacy protection.
According to DuckDuckGo, the app will “redefine user expectations of everyday online privacy,” and it will function across search, browsing, email, and other platforms. The program is said to be cleaner, more private, and quicker than Chrome.
