Apple Rolls Fourth Beta of WatchOS 9 To Developers
watchOS 9 introduces four new watch faces: Lunar, Playtime, Metropolitan, and Astronomy, as well as updates to existing watch faces.

The fourth beta of the upcoming watchOS 9 upgrade was issued to developers yesterday for testing, three weeks after releasing the third beta.
To install watchOS 9, developers will need to obtain the configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center.
Once installed, watchOS 8 may be downloaded by heading to the settings app.
Apple seeded the fourth beta of the forthcoming watchOS 9 upgrades to developers yesterday for testing purposes, three weeks after Apple provided the third beta to developers.
Developers will need to get the configuration profile from the Apple Developer Centre in order to install watchOS 9. Once installed, watchOS 8 may be downloaded through the iPhone’s dedicated Apple Watch app by navigating to General > Software update.
To upgrade to new software, an Apple Watch must be charged, connected to a charger, and within range of an iPhone.
WatchOS 9 includes four new watch faces: Lunar, Playtime, Metropolitan, and Astronomy, as well as improvements to certain current watch faces.
The ECG app now includes AFib History, which allows you to monitor how long you’ve been in atrial fibrillation. The sleep tracking tool has been expanded to include sleep phases, allowing the Apple Watch to track when users are in REM, Core, or Deep sleep, and Apple has also released a Medications app.
The Prescriptions app allows users to manage and monitor their medications, vitamins, and supplements, as well as receive notifications when it is time to take them.
Custom workouts and upgrades for runners, triathletes, and swimmers have been added to the Workout app. Fitness+ exercises may now be streamed to some third-party TVs for people without an Apple TV, and alerts have been tweaked to be less invasive while the watch’s screen is active.
A CallKit API that allows VOIP calls to be answered on the Apple Watch, Apple Watch Mirroring for managing the Apple Watch with an iPhone; Quick Actions for accomplishing more with a double pinch motion; and changes to the Reminders and Calendar applications are among the new features.
