Many Apple services, like iMessage, Apple Music, the App Store, and several others, were suffering from disruption issues for a significant amount of time early Monday afternoon, according to Apple’s system status page.
However, at around 3:45 PM ET or thereabouts, every service again regained its signal and the company claims the difficulties have been rectified. In line with Theverge, the tech giant is yet to respond to a request for comment regarding what could have happened.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, in line with the outage, also reported on the popular microblogging platform Twitter that Apple’s corporate and retail systems were down as well—which, according to a spotted tweet on Twitter, seems to suggest that some Apple Store personnel have to resort to conducting their jobs on paper.
Meanwhile, Apple’s status website for developers was entirely down at one time, but it is currently displaying a number of outages. It, too, has already changed since the entry in the afternoon.
On the r/sysadmin subreddit, several participants claimed that they couldn’t enter Apple’s business manager site. Furthermore, a tweet from WhatsAppBetaInfo suggests that the difficulties also impacted other applications (for example, attempting to back up your conversation history to iCloud) (for example, trying to back up your chat history to iCloud).
