Apple Launch Safari 15.1 for MacOS Big Sur and Catalina with Previous Tab Design

Apple rolled out a new update for Safari yesterday Safari 15.1 to macOS Big Sur and macOS Catalina, those who don’t have right access to macOS Monterey installed can also still have a taste of the latest Safari features.
Safari 15.1 introduces Apple’s initial tab design which was previously before the launch of Safari 15. Though with MacOS Monterey and Safari 15, Apple also added a new “Compact” look that transformed the design and feel of the tabs unifying them with the URL bar.
However, in the latest version of Safari 15.1, Apple took away those design changes and then provided a new Safari to its pre-Monterey look, tossing away the updated interface and features that matched the top bar in Safari with the background color of websites. Users who still prefer the new interface design can still re-enable it through the Safari preferences, but the update just stickled to the old design look as default.
