Apple has yesterday rolled out the first beta of an upcoming iOS 15.1 update to its developers just a day after releasing iOS 15 to the public.
Developers can proceed to downloaf iOS 15.1 through the Apple Developer Center or over the air after the right profile has been mounted on an iPhone or iPad.
However, there havent been any report on what’s included in this new update, but there are a number of features in iOS 15 that is yet to be released, such as SharePlay, which we expect to see been inculcated in the new software for testing purposes. We’ll update this article when we receive further insights on the beta feature and find out what’s new.
Apple rolls out First Beta of watchOS 8.1 to Developers
Similar to iOS 15.1 beta the company has also rolled its watchOS 8.1 betas ro developers too.
To install watchOS 8, developers will need to download the configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center again. After installation, watchOS 8 can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on the iPhone by navigating to General > Software update.
To successfully update to the new software, an Apple Watch needs to be of at least 50 percent battery life, or perhaps placed on charger. Both the watch amd iphone needs to be in range of each other.
We recommended not to install watchOS 8 on a main Apple Watch as the software may be unstable and might come with bugs since it is at its early phase.
There’s no word yet on what’s new in watchOS 8.1, but we’ll update you as we know more.
