Samsung’s deployment of Android 12 is back on full steam ahead, with the distribution restarting and even spreading to other territories for the company’s newest foldable. Alongside the latest devices, last year’s generation of Samsung smartphones is also getting Android 12, including the Galaxy S20 series, Note 20, and Galaxy Z Fold 2.

As discovered by SamMobile, Samsung has started sending out the stable Android 12/One UI 4.0 upgrade in select locations to the Galaxy S20, Note 20, and Z Fold 2.

Moreover, this doesn’t come as a big surprise as these devices have been in beta for some time now, but Samsung is ahead of schedule. It was previously reported that the projected timeframe would place these updates in January, with the base Galaxy S20 even having been purportedly delayed to a month later.

For the Galaxy S20 and Note 20, the Android 12 rollout appears to be just coming up in Switzerland so far. However, it affects every device across the two ranges, including Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, S20 FE, Note 20, and Note 20 Ultra.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is also getting its Android 12 upgrade in its stable version, with that update coming up in several different European nations. So far, these upgrades have not shown up in the United States, but more customers are reporting getting the stable Android 12 update on their Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 smartphones and in Europe and South Korea. However, it appears after Samsung restarted its distribution following some problems. In addition, Samsung is currently distributing a third Android 12 beta to Galaxy S10 and Note 10 devices.
